I really don't understand the political agenda here. This is about vulnerable young girls being sexually exploited and the authorities doing nothing to stop it. It's disgusting what has happened and some on here go on about lefties etc. it beggars belief!

I'm glad the governments acting but it shouldn't take this sort of appalling scandal for changes to be made. It's simply unacceptable that we have seen industrial scale abuse of young girls in Oxford and Rochdale.
Anyone trying to rationalise the behaviour of this scum are doing the victims a great disservice.

I was at university with two remarkable Japanese women. Both were extremely polite, but as hard as steel inside. Both had strong feminist tendencies, and rejected many Japanese social values. And both were called Noriko.
Noriko 1, the better looking Noriko, is now a university professor in Japan who's become a bit bitter and twisted in her middle age. She remains unmarried.
Noriko 2 got married, had kids and seems to be living a contemporary Japanese life.
